NEW BiS Fishing Ring in WoW Forever – Leafre's Ring of Precise Spell Power

Leafre's Ring of Precise Spell Power — One of the Rarest Fishing Rewards in WoW Forever?

Fishing might be hiding one of the most powerful and unusual items in WoW Forever.

Leafre's Ring of Precise Spell Power is an Epic ring with an incredible amount of Spell Power and, according to current item data, can be equipped from an extremely low level. Current databases list the ring at Item Level 66 with approximately +100 Spell Power, making its stats especially unusual for an item without a traditional high-level requirement.

You Can Get It Through Fishing

Unlike most powerful pieces of gear, Leafre's Ring isn't associated with a raid boss, dungeon loot table, or profession recipe.

The ring has been connected to Fishing, turning one of WoW's most relaxed professions into a potential source of an incredibly powerful item. The exact chance of catching it is unknown, but everything points toward it being an extremely rare catch.

Our team managed to catch Leafre's Ring of Precise Spell Power while fishing in The Stockade in Stormwind, using a character below level 10 with 75/75 Fishing.

That also means you don't necessarily need a max-level character or endgame gear to start hunting for it.

Why Is This Ring So Interesting?

The answer is simple: Spell Power.

Current item data lists Leafre's Ring with around +100 Spell Power, an enormous amount compared with gear normally available to low-level characters.

Because the ring is also Bind on Pickup, you can't simply buy one from another player — if the fishing source remains unchanged, you'll have to catch your own.

How Rare Is Leafre's Ring?

That's the big question.

There is currently no reliable published drop rate, and community discussion around the item is still trying to determine exactly where and under what conditions it can be caught.

So while you might get incredibly lucky, you could also spend a very long time fishing without seeing the ring.

And yes — you'll probably level quite a bit of your Fishing skill in the process.
